Senior Security Supervisor (SSS)

The fourth rank of the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) is a Senior Security Supervisor (SSS). An individual who wants to become a Senior Security Supervisor (SSS) will need to have at least 1 year 6 months of experience as a Security Supervisor (SS) to meet the Year-In-Grade (YIG) requirement and fulfil the training requirements.

The Progressive Wage Model (PWM) is a five-level career progression model which was developed by the Security Tripartite Cluster STC) to help security officers achieve a stable income and work-life balance by encouraging security officers to upgrade their skills and progress through the productivity-based wage progression pathway.

Job scope of a Senior Security Supervisor (SSS)

The general job scope of a Senior Security Supervisor (SSS) include:

• All of Security Supervisor (SS) duties and;
• In-charge of CCTV centre and Central alarm monitoring centre
• Conduct security audits and risk assessments
• Plan, assess and review team performance
• Train and assess subordinates
• Develop individual training and competency roadmaps
• Conduct after action reviews

How to become a Senior Security Supervisor (SSS)?

To become a Senior Security Supervisor (SSS), you will need to have at least 1 year 6 months of experience as a Security Supervisor (SS) to meet the Year-In-Grade (YIG) requirement and fulfil the training requirements. The following are the SSS courses offered at KnowledgeTree.
