Security Supervisor (SS)

The third rank of the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) is a Security Supervisor (SS). An individual who wants to become a Security Supervisor (SS) will need to have at least 1-year of experience as a Senior Security Officer (SSO) to meet the Year-In-Grade (YIG) requirement and fulfil the training requirements.

The Progressive Wage Model (PWM) is a five-level career progression model which was developed by the Security Tripartite Cluster STC) to help security officers achieve a stable income and work-life balance by encouraging security officers to upgrade their skills and progress through the productivity-based wage progression pathway.

Job scope of a Security Supervisor (SS)

The general job scope of a Senior Security Officer (SSO) include:

• All of Senior Security Officer (SSO) duties and;
• Incident management, reporting, and investigation
• Direct supervision of security personnel
• Conduct team briefing and debrief
• Execute evacuation plans and exercises

How to become a Security Supervisor (SS)?

To become a Security Supervisor (SS), you will need to have at least 1-year of experience as a Senior Security Officer (SSO) to meet the Year-In-Grade (YIG) requirement and fulfil the training requirements. The following are the SS courses offered at KnowledgeTree.
