ABOUT

MRSO – Monitor and Review Security Operations is a course for security personnel that is looking to be a Senior Security Supervisor (SSS). MRSO aims to equip security personnel with the knowledge and skills to monitor and review security operations at their workplace. Upon completion, learners will be able to conduct a comprehensive review of the security system at their deployment site and the performance of fellow security officers.

- Prepare for security operations
- Supervise and monitor security operations
- Review security operations

ASSESSMENT

1. Assessment will be conducted by an independent assessor (examiner) from *POLWEL (*Police Welfare Co-operative)

2. Assessment format : Role-Play and Oral Questions

3. Assessment duration: 2 hours

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

1. Learner of the age range of 18 years old onwards

2. Minimum of primary school education

3. Candidates must meet the required workplace literacy and numeracy level

a. Listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent or exceeding ES WSQ Level 4.

4. Candidates should possess the relevant assumed skills and knowledge (Security related). This includes having at least 1year experience in the security industry or relevant security modules includes security supervisor modules based on the PWM such as:

  • Supervise Security Officers

And at least 2 out of the 3 following modules:

  • WSQ 302C Assess and Address Security Risks
  • WSQ 305C Induct Security Personnel
  • WSQ 304C Perform Supervisory Duties Within Legal Framework

TRAINING DURATION

2.5 Training Days + 0.5

Attendance requirement

Learners are required to attain the full training duration for each module and sit for the assessment

Course completion requirements

Learners are required to have 100% attendance and obtain a “Competent” for assessment

REFUND POLICY

Course Fee refunds has to be made at least 3 working days before course start date. Course fees are non-refundable once your a]endance is confirmed.

Reassessment Policy

Learners who fail to obtain a competent result are required to pay for the reassessment fees and retake assessment within 60 days from the original course date. Otherwise, learners are required to pay the balance of the full course fee if they choose to withdraw from the course.
