ABOUT

AASR – Assess and Address Security Risks (AASR) equips individuals with the skills and knowledge to identify various security risks. As part of the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) Security Supervisor (SS) course, participants will learn how to present recommendations to management on risk mitigation and implementation. 

The course is suitable for security personnel looking to be in leadership positions, as it supports managers in making crucial security decisions based on risk assessments and evaluations. 

Aspiring security supervisors can expect to learn how to assess client security status, conduct site assessments, address security deficiencies, and submit findings and recommendations in Assess and Address Security Risks (Security Risk Analysis). To become a fully qualified Security Supervisor (SS), participants must also complete the Supervise Security Officers (SUP) and Induct Security Personnel (ISP) courses in addition to the AASR module.

This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Security Sector.

ASSESSMENT

1. Assessment will be conducted by an independent assessor (examiner) from *POLWEL (*Police Welfare Co-operative)
2. Assessment format: Role Play, Case Study and Oral Questions

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

1. Must have already obtained a valid PLRD security licence.

2. Must have completed the Senior Security Officers (SSO) courses.

3. Trainee must be able to speak, write and understand simple English as the courses are conducted in English.

TRAINING DURATION

3 Training Days + 1 (In-Person)

Attendance requirement

Learners are required to complete the full training duration for each module and sit for the assessment.

Course completion requirements

Learners must maintain 100% attendance and achieve a ‘Competent’ rating in the assessment.

REFUND POLICY

Course Fee refunds has to be made at least 3 working days before course start date. Course fees are non-refundable once your a]endance is confirmed.

Reassessment Policy

Learners who fail to obtain a competent result are required to pay for the reassessment fees and retake assessment within 60 days from the original course date. Otherwise, learners are required to pay the balance of the full course fee if they choose to withdraw from the course.
