ABOUT

COBD – Conduct Operation Briefing and Debriefing is targeted at learners who are in the security industry and are looking to be a Senior Security Supervisor (SSS). COBD will provide learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure that learners are able to plan, assess and manage team performance during security operations at their workplace. Upon completion of the COBD course, learners can also expect to be proficient in reviewing their team’s performance and also conduct team briefings and debriefings.

ASSESSMENT

1. Assessment will be conducted by an independent assessor (examiner) from *POLWEL (*Police Welfare Co-operative)

2. Assessment format : Role-Play and Oral Questions

3. Assessment duration: 2 hours

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

1. Must have already obtained a valid PLRD security license

2. Completed SS Courses

3. Trainee must be able to speak, write and understand simple English as the courses are conducted in English

TRAINING DURATION

1.5 Training Days + 0.5 (In-Person)

Attendance requirement

Learners are required to complete the full training duration for each module and sit for the assessment.

Course completion requirements

Learners must maintain 100% attendance and achieve a ‘Competent’ rating in the assessment.

REFUND POLICY

Course Fee refunds has to be made at least 3 working days before course start date. Course fees are non-refundable once your a]endance is confirmed.

Reassessment Policy

Learners who fail to obtain a competent result are required to pay for the reassessment fees and retake assessment within 60 days from the original course date. Otherwise, learners are required to pay the balance of the full course fee if they choose to withdraw from the course.
