DSE – Deploy Security Equipment is a module targeted at security personnel looking to be a Senior Security Supervisor (SSS). Firstly, learners can expect to gain relevant skills and knowledge to deploy access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equipment. Secondly, learners will learn to supervise security officers in response to security incidents. Ultimately, upon completion, learners will be able to identify gaps and make recommendations to a security system plan.
- Gain the necessary knowledge and know-how to operate current access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equipment
- Improve a site’s security systems and identify gaps or areas which require the deployment of respective security equipment
- Train security officers to give them the know-how to operate current access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equipment
- Identify gaps and make recommendations to a security system plan.
- Supervise security officers to perform daily checks and report faults of security systems.
- Supervise security officers to be able to re-spond to security incidents that are triggered by security systems.
1. Assessment will be conducted by an independent assessor (examiner) from *POLWEL (*Police Welfare Co-operative)
2. Assessment format : Role-Play and Oral Questions
3. Assessment duration: 2 hours
1. Must have already obtained a valid PLRD security license
2. Completed SS Courses
3. Trainee must be able to speak, write and understand simple English as the courses are conducted in English
Learners are required to complete the full training duration for each module and sit for the assessment.
Learners must maintain 100% attendance and achieve a ‘Competent’ rating in the assessment.

REFUND POLICY
Course Fee refunds has to be made at least 3 working days before course start date. Course fees are non-refundable once your a]endance is confirmed.
Reassessment Policy
Learners who fail to obtain a competent result are required to pay for the reassessment fees and retake assessment within 60 days from the original course date. Otherwise, learners are required to pay the balance of the full course fee if they choose to withdraw from the course.
