During the Budget speech earlier in February 2024, the Ministry of Finance announced several initiatives to support and enhance Singaporean workers’ career pathways. Continuous skills upgrading and lifelong learning are now more than important than ever. One of the initiatives that the Ministry of Finance introduced is the new SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme to better support mid-career workers.
The new SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme will provide greater structural support for mid-career Singaporeans aged 40 years and above to pursue practical skills and stay relevant in a changing economy.
All Singaporeans aged 40 and above will be given a $4,000 top-up of SkillsFuture credits in May to encourage mid-career workers to refresh their skills and progress in their careers.
In general, there are about 7,000 selected courses which are eligible for the mid-career switch and/or upskilling in the PWM framework. Here at KnowledgeTree, there are 14 PWM courses which you may utilise the SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) for as shown below:
