PGPS – Provide Guard and Patrol Services is one of the 3 basic courses for a Security Officer (SO). It equips the officers with basic skills and knowledge such as clocking, visitor management, vehicle management and identifying security threats.
- Perform various guard and patrol duties that include clocking and visitor and vehicle management, etc.
- Watch out for suspicious security threats.
- Preparing work activities
- Guarding static position
- Handling telephone calls and lost-and-found properties
- Patrolling premises
- Making reports and hand over duties
Assessment will be conducted by an independent assessor (examiner) from *POLWEL (*Police Welfare Co-operative)
Assessment format : Role-Play and Oral Questions
Assessment duration for Provide Guard and Patrol Services (PGPS) is 2 hours.
