RTT – Recognise Terrorist Threats is one of the 3 basic courses for a Security Officer (SO). Learners will be equipped with the fundamentals of recognising any suspicious person or activities. Learners will also learn to take immediate action using proper procedures. KnowledgeTree ensures that all RTT classes are practical and realistic to ensure that learners are well-versed with the protocols and procedures once they enter the workforce.

Recognise Terrorist Threats (RTT) was made compulsory for security officers since Jan 1, 2020, except for those deployed at warehouses and condominiums.
However, in the Singapore Government’s effort to raise the professionalism of the security industry and keep Singapore safe from terrorism, ALL security officers will have to complete the RTT course before they can be deployed at any site from July 1, 2023.

1. Assessment will be conducted by an independent assessor (examiner) from *POLWEL (*Police Welfare Co-operative)
2. Assessment format : Role-Play and Oral Questions
3. Assessment duration: 2 hours
1. Trainee must be able to speak, write and understand simple English as the courses are conducted in English
Learners are required to attain the full training duration for each module and sit for the assessment
Learners are required to have 100% attendance and obtain a “Competent” for assessment

REFUND POLICY
Course Fee refunds has to be made at least 3 working days before course start date. Course fees are non-refundable once your a]endance is confirmed.
Reassessment Policy
Learners who fail to obtain a competent result are required to pay for the reassessment fees and retake assessment within 60 days from the original course date. Otherwise, learners are required to pay the balance of the full course fee if they choose to withdraw from the course.
