PRSF – Perform Remote Surveillance Function, also known as Security Surveillance Management (Perform Remote Surveillance Function), is a new mandatory course for becoming Senior Security Officers (SSOs). Learners will be equipped with the basic skills and knowledge to handle and operate remote security surveillance equipment to perform remote surveillance functions, including remotely detecting and preventing security incidents in high-risk areas. After the course, aspiring Senior Security Officers will know how to perform security surveillance duties effectively and harness technology, namely security software, equipment and programmes, to enhance the security stance at their workplace.
This course is exclusively for low-wage workers in the PWM-Security Sector. KnowledgeTree is SkillsFuture-approved and accepts payment using SkillsFuture Credit. - Be able to use different types of security remote surveillance technologies with augmented analytics capabilities to analyse and profile crime types.
- Be able to check the operational status and perform basic troubleshooting of security surveillance equipment according to the organisation's operating procedures.
- Be able to perform incident escalation and evidence collection using security surveillance recordings and complete the documentation of incidents.
- Using Security Surveillance Technologies to Analyse, Detect, and Prevent Crimes in High-Risk Areas
- Basic Troubleshooting and Reporting of Common Equipment Faults
- Evidence Gathering for Incident Escalation to the Relevant Authorities
1. Assessment will be conducted by an independent assessor (examiner) from *POLWEL (*Police Welfare Co-operative)
2. Assessment format: Role-Play and Oral Questions
3. Assessment duration: 1.5 hours
1. Must have already obtained a valid PLRD security licence.
2. Must have completed the Security Officer (SO) courses.
3. Trainee must be able to speak, write and understand simple English as the courses are conducted in English.
Learners are required to complete the full training duration for each module and sit for the assessment.
Learners must maintain 100% attendance and achieve a ‘Competent’ rating in the assessment.

REFUND POLICY
Course Fee refunds has to be made at least 3 working days before course start date. Course fees are non-refundable once your a]endance is confirmed.
Reassessment Policy
Learners who fail to obtain a competent result are required to pay for the reassessment fees and retake assessment within 60 days from the original course date. Otherwise, learners are required to pay the balance of the full course fee if they choose to withdraw from the course.
