ABOUT

Cybersecurity training is often under-prioritised for both security professionals and those in other business industries, especially private sectors. In today’s digital age, cybersecurity awareness can prevent a multitude of dangers, ranging from financial and physical risks to reputational and legal damage. Basic Cybersecurity Response (BSCR), an introductory cybersecurity awareness course by KnowledgeTree, is designed to provide learners with the fundamentals of detecting cybersecurity threats and the various ways to respond to them effectively.

ASSESSMENT

Oral Questioning: 15 minutes

Written Assessment: 45 minutes

Assessment will be conducted by KnowledgeTree Training Centre.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

1. Trainee must be able to speak, write and understand simple English as the courses are conducted in English.

TRAINING DURATION

1 day / 8 hours (7 hours training + 1 hour assessment) - In-Person

Attendance requirement

Learners are required to complete the full training duration for each module and sit for the assessment.

Course completion requirements

Learners must maintain 100% attendance and achieve a ‘Competent’ rating in the assessment.

REFUND POLICY

Course Fee refunds has to be made at least 3 working days before course start date. Course fees are non-refundable once your a]endance is confirmed.

Reassessment Policy

Learners who fail to obtain a competent result are required to pay for the reassessment fees and retake assessment within 60 days from the original course date. Otherwise, learners are required to pay the balance of the full course fee if they choose to withdraw from the course.
